They’re minimalist with no logo stitched into the backpack’s panels.
As I mentioned above, Aer’s bags are known for sleek modern designs. I usually start out with the main compartments or features, but with Aer backpacks I think the first thing that will strike you about the bag is the aesthetics. The differences are pretty minimal so I think a lot of the feedback on the Tech Pack will also apply to the Tech Pack 2. However, I’ll point out the key differences between the first and second iterations along the way. For this review I was using the first generation backpack. One thing to note is Aer has a second generation of the Tech Pack out now, aptly named the Tech Pack 2. This bag combines the sleek modern look that all of Aer’s bags are known for, with a really good level of comfort and a ton of organization into a backpack that can attract everyone from the businessman to the techie. I used the Tech Pack over a period of several months and am happy to say it is among my favorite EDC bags to use for work. So now we’re moving on to the Aer Tech Pack. They now have a wide array of backpacks, sling bags, duffel bags, tote bags and brief cases. They’re the team behind some very successful Kickstarter campaigns for their early backpacks, including the first Travel Pack and Fit Pack, both of which we’ve reviewed.
